Our Rain Garden was featured on the BBC South Today News

The children, staff, parents and local volunteers helped by ARK (Action for the River Kennet) through the Sparkling Streams Project created our fabulous Rain Drop Rain Garden. Our garden was designed by the award winning garden designer Wendy Allen. Wendy met with the pupils to listen to their ideas and incorporate them into her fantastic design. The children loved working together -building, digging, planting and weaving  and now love playing and learning outdoors in this amazing space. They have found out about how a Rain Garden can help to 'slow the flow' of water entering the sewers, create a sustainable environment for wildlife as well as be a super place to enjoy outdoor learning and playing.
